We spend the night in kandy that day, in next morning we travel to Nuwaraeliya a town famous for tea factories and England like whether, nicknamed as little England. Next day we travel through south coast in Sri Lanka for looking some beach and beach city vibe with TourGuideInSriLanka.Our first stop was Mirissa beach. Mirissa beach is still a not much crowded beach in the island compared to their famous beaches like Bentota and Hikkaduwa. We went swimming and diving in Mirissa beach. Perfect place for nice beach fun for a newly married couple. Next day we traveled to Galle a famous city in south coast in Sri Lanka. Of course the main attraction is Dutch built Galle fort, still standing tall. The fort worth a visit and you can get the old colonial European town vibe there. Fort is filled with narrow roads, colonial type houses and old cars and scooters. After some good nights sleep we traveled to Kalpitiya using highway in the morning with big hopes, to see largest mammal in the world and also the playful Dolphins.
Kalpitiya a small beach town known for whale watching and kite surfing. There are lot of places in there who willing to teach kite surfing or to provide boat facilities for whale watching. We tried both and we get lucky. We saw bunch of cute Dolphins and two to three whales. A wonderful experience in my opinion. We tried kite surfing next, a perfect sport for a couple who looking for adrenalin rush for their honeymoon, and we enjoyed it so much we did it twice. In the next day evening we say goodbye to Kalpitiya and came back to the airport for our midnight flight.
